Sounds like an odd question at first. I live in an apartment, and I don't want people to see I'm putting in new speakers / etc in my car. The last place I was living my car was broken into and they took everything but my component door speakers (which don't work now anyways). And I don't want to get ripped off again. In the summer when I switched out my head unit, I went to the local high school and did it in the parking lot. Not a soul around. I don't have friends with a garage either to further complicate things. The woes of apartment dwelling...
