Hey everyone, I'm trying to hook up this Sirius unit I got from a xA owner who put in a new stereo. To those of you who have Sirius but don't have it active, can you hear audio on Channel 158? Mine is just saying "DEACTVTD". I need to know if this is normal when the unit hasn't been activated yet.

So, can you hear audio on 158 when Sirius is deactivated?

 

I just noticed no one has hit you up with a response... I have installed only aftermarket Sirius packages, but when you intitially hook up the device the only thing you should be able to hear until you call or activate your products ID number to match your account is the weather channel which the device should default to everytime it completely loses it's power and what not. Hope that helps if not consider your post bumped

Yeah, I have a feeling the tuner I have is bad. No audio at all...ever.
