Default New Hood, Kaminari Fiber/Carbon and Color need opinions

Well couple days ago I was was driving and guy stopped out of no where and I bumped into him lucky for me I hit his spare tire which is in the back and so there was no damage to his car. To my car I have a small uprise in my hood where the frame is buckled, barely noticeable. Thing was I brought it to the a auto body shop and well they said that where it buckled is the safety thing where if you get into an accident the hood will bend up rather then sliding through the windshield. So as of the frame they said that it would be a liability issue to repair it because if i were to get into accident the hood would not buckle up but it would go through the windshield and you know what would happen.
It ended up the guy had an old toyota suv and because its my fault for running into him i can't blame it on him, due to no damage to his car he didn't care to swap insurance (yay for me i guess, no insurance up)

I was planning on a future upgrade to my body and because I have the spare money (finally) I guess might as well do it now.

Ok now to what my choices now.

1. I could just go buy a stock tC hood from scion but that would be no fun. haha

2. Kaminari Reverse Cowl Hood Fiberglass
Color
2a. Get it painted the same color of my car
2b. Paint it black and paint the hatch black (like the panda look but with IIP)

3. Kaminari Reverse Cowl Hood Carbonfiber
3a. Just get the hood.
3b. Get the hatch carbon fiber with it to keep the flow

My tC is a 05 Indigo Ink Pearl

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated

so you're going to just buy a new hood without fixing the frame? i don't think a new hood would be my first worry. beside the fact that that new hood probably won't sit right until the frame is fixed. if i were you i'd say you were in a parking lot (find one that's busy with no cameras) and you came out from the store and somebody hit you. it works trust me. you'll have money to fix your car and get the hood.

O ya when i brought it the body shop they said the frame was fine and if there were any problems they would fix it. I was only going like 3-5 mph. But i guess i could go with that but its such hassel with the insurance company, also another thing is just saying if it were to happen that he did take down the plates and call it in that it was a hit and run it would make things more complicated with insurance company ect ect. There were no plates on the front so doubtful and he never went to the back of the car to write em down, but again if he did ya.

thanks for comments

if i was going to get the kami hood cf it would be this one
http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...roducts_id=375

and about that cf hatch i saw this one too
http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...roducts_id=470

love the no shipping fees

but does anyone here have a cf hatch just too see how it would look?

the nice thing if you were to do that with cf from front to back is that when i rack up the money again i can finish up some more of the kami set like this
http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...oducts_id=1129
atleast it keeps the carbon fiber flow how its strait down the middle. but all my ideas are based on how i see them on the net and how they may look like when i get it all together.

you can save up money on the trunk.. instead of real cf just get it wrapped with vinyl... it will cost half of the real deal..

dont get it wrapped in carbon fiber. if you're gonna do it then do it right. also, dont paint the hood black. that is tacky. if you want it black get a cf hood. otherwise paint the fiberglass hood the same color as your car
