Default Loss of sound quality when running an inverter?

I am getting a new box next week and it comes with the 6 disk, my question is if there is a real big loss of sound quality if I run an inverter so I can keep the 6 disk and also can I run a big amp with this? The amp is a Rockford 501s which says 1500watts I think but I am running it at 500watts @ 4ohms.

You mean a line-level converter? No, you'll probably not notice a big difference between wiring a line-level converter vs. having RCA outs, provided everything is properly wired and you don't end up with a ground loop problem.

if you get an adjustable convertor you should be okay... rca outs are a little cleaner, and the ssp settings of the radio has a big effect on the way the line level adapter performs...

Looks like I can just run that and put it in between the stock HU and the stock harness, run my rcas and power as normal.
