kuzikan 11-18-2004, 04:41 PM taco bell drive thru sucks
richdog 11-18-2004, 05:24 PM Lets see how bad any pics? yes it does suck
SuperCrunchyAction 11-18-2004, 05:25 PM take it to a tire shop, maybe they can smooth it out for you.
xBizzle 11-18-2004, 05:29 PM All it takes is a rotary tool and a little matching paint to make it almost invisible. Try it.

Dremels, one of the most useful tools ever invented.
the_saint 11-18-2004, 06:01 PM Didn't your box get whacked on base? Claim your wheel with the rest of the damage. :D
CubiXBb 11-18-2004, 06:12 PM I feel your pain, dude..that just recently happened to me, too. As soon as I heard that horrible scraping sound...oh, the horror.. :(
Max2k 11-18-2004, 06:43 PM This is why I haven't bought rims. I know that a week after copping them I would go to parallel park and hear that awful kkkrrrchhhcikich (that's the sound of a rim scraping).
hotbox05 11-18-2004, 06:48 PM i've never curbed any rim on any car kinda lucky i suppose. but then again i dont parallell park too much but still. in my dads f150 long bed i scrubbed tires in a taco bell drive thru.tho. and long cars short driveways. or hey run 45series tires with a built in rim protector lip and bam less chance of fin thing up. thats one reason i love 45 series yokohama avs es100's
EAN10775 11-19-2004, 03:41 AM happened to me about a week ago...parallel parking to return and overdue DVD...brand new 17"s...had them on for 4 days...and even worse, I had plans to take them off the next day for winter...

Those would look funny on a xB. There usually used on caddies by old farts that have lost or never had depth perception. :D
Skeeterflea 11-19-2004, 07:16 PM Usually used on lowriders as well, with Dayton/wire wheels sticking out so far, makes it easy not to scuff your shoes. After you rub the feelers enough times you will get the "feel" of where you need to cut the wheels. Kind of trains you where you need to put your car. I know most people wouldn't want them on their box for fear of looks. There is also some different tips you can put on the ends, skulls, dragons etc. But $10 vs curbing your $2000+ set of rims... just a suggestion
Actually I wonder where you would mount them to on the xB, if you even could.
slimXB 11-19-2004, 10:47 PM that sucks man but not as bad as a hot chick with a mustache
RHDVIPbB 11-19-2004, 11:18 PM It cost me about $100 to get a rim fixed and it was filled in and color matched.
