Default Door Sill Enhancements

How are the Door Sill Enhancements mounted? Do they use adhesive tape? If you have them, are you happy with them?

Sorry if this has been addressed. I did a search and could not find the info.

I have them. They were on the car I purchased. I wouldn't give them up, but at the same time, I'm like "whatever".
I never checked to see how they are mounted.
In mine (Black Sand Pearl BSP also), they help to compliment my aluminum pedals and other aluminum colored accents. They give the care a more solid look...but only when the doors are open, so again...."whatever".
Definitely overpriced IMO.

I have them on my BOP xB. I think they look good. I got them from my dealer, materials and installation together, so I have no idea how they are attached.

Check out http://www.RacingSolution.Com for our new Carbon Fiber door sills. They stick on top of the factory pieces using double sided tape.

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking at Scionpartspeople.com. They have the set for $71.50.

Oooh, other cheap accessories too. The short shifter is only $130.85 there.

Even though this is cheap compared to other sources, I still think $71 is too much for 4 small thin pieces of metal. I'll wait till prices come down. I do think they look good.

I have the JDM ones and they apply with double side tape and have two tabs that hold them in place. But, the xB does not have an opening for these tabs so they need to be removed.

Don't think the price is gonna get any cheaper than that! The xB will be gone soon so, if anything the price may go higher! So I would totally get them at that price. In fact I am already there!! :D

You may be right, maybe I should rethink about it.

I had to scour dealers to find these back in May. They look good, but the price is rediculous. They adhere with 3m adhesive tape.
