I'm a little confused about my 3 Complimentary Oil Changes.

The manual and hanging sign I got with the car both state I get 3 complimentary oil changes within the first x-amount of miles.

What confuses me is the keychain certificate thing my dealership gave me. IT states I get every third oil change for free. I just want to make sure that this is NOT associated or in replacement of the 3-free policy, AND that I can go to a different dealership (one closer to my house) for the 3 complimentary changes.

I never heard of a dealer thing like that...probably something they offer independent of the 3 from Scion. Probably to encourage people to come to the dealer to get their oil changed.

Side note...I love your screen name!

From Scion corp you get 3 free. Your dealer is also giving you one free for every two you purchase.

Oil Change:
1)Free
2)Free
3)Free
4)Pay
5)Pay
6)Free
7)Pay
8)Pay
9)Free

With my dealer I get one free one a year on top of the 3 free scion corp ones.

dealerships will do that sometimes. mine gives me every single oil change for free, up to 4 per year. i dont even have to keep up with regular maintenance, but i am going to do the 12 mo. one
