Default ScionGT35R' new numbers +500 on pump gas

Update on SCIONGT35R's car.

We went to the dyno yesterday to do some final runs on pump gas and still using the e-Manage Ultimate piggy-back . All runs where made running 93 octane pump gas from the local Texaco station. Also all runs were made with the QTP 3" electric cutout opened. As you can see on the video the car is rolling on 19" wheels which hurts the numbers compared with the last time on the same dyno were the car had the stock wheels.

First pass of the day with the same tune of last time the car pumped out 383HP at 14 psi.

In the end we set the boost to 21psi and it spiked to 23psi at about 6,000rpm's and the car made 511HP.

We were finally able to make +500hp on pump gas while rolling on 19" heavy wheels while still using a Piggy-Back .

We will not tune anymore on the Ultimate and we plan on installing the AEM in the next couple of weeks and then make some runs with racing fuel and probably use the NOS system!!

Off course here is the promised video!

Curve looks very odd and peak power is extremely high unless you have some boost issues up there. Can you post boost chart from same run? AF mixture chart? What cams are you running?

congrats pito and sciongt35. very nice job.
Amazing numbers for a simple e-manage ultimate.

not many tunersz can push a piggyback to that limit.

So you guys are reving out to 7500 rpm? Looking good man. Curious about the dips in the graph around 5k rpm. Any info on what's causing it?

i also noticed the dips in the graph. usually dips occure in a/f graph, not the horse power.

GREAT outcome tho guys! 511whp is effin sick!! i can't wait to see what the AEM, race gas, and NO2 will do..........

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM....

just playin with you. i bet if you switch out the injectors you'll nail the 600whp mark!

First, this dyno place does not have the optional boost input so I don't have a boost chart! I don't use the dyno's A/F sensors because I think they are not reliable and I am not going to base the tune on a Wideband sensor I don't trust.

The cams are bone stock 2006 ones!
We do have boost problems on the car. The 4th gear pull began at 2,800rpms and the engine was already boosting 2psi. It continues to build boost up until 4,700rpms where it reaches 17 psi and settles there up to 5,300rpm's. At 5,300rpm's it begins to slowly build more boost and reaches 23psi by the end of the run (about 7,300rpm's on that run).

On the dyno the engine sounds good to 5,000rpm's. After that it behaves like it just switches something (probably the VVT-i) and sounds just like V-tech on a high power N/A Honda engine. It sounds extremely loud and I think it is the reason why boost begins to raise again and power keeps climbing until the end of the pull.

At 6,300rpm's you can see a dip in the graph because its there that the Ultimate takes over the fueling of the engine overriding the OEM rev limit. This is a big factor of the numbers. Keep in mind that if I raise the rev limit higher than 7,400 (I will with the AEM) the numbers will keep climbing even more. And even more if it had high performance cams.

The A/F mix is rich on some points of the pull. Keep in mind that we are still using the stock ECM with a piggy back and at those power levels the "always learning stock ECM" can trick you and run lean leading you to detonate.

We are still running the stock throttle body and stock cams on the engine!
