so ive had a squeek in the engin for a couple weeks. it was around the pulleys. now that squeek turned into a click or a knock type sound. sounds coming from the same area. anyone else have that issue or know anything about it. im driving out of state in 2 days and was wondering if its nothing to worry about or if its something major. i took it to my toyota dealership today and they said to just spray off the belt cause its probably dirt. so yeah PLEASE HELP!!!

 

well, try that, see if it works, if not, ask them to look at it.

 

i did and it sounds like i made it worse. i just dont have the time to take it into a dealer and have them dick around when i need it thurs to drive

 

you don't by chance happen to have a supercharger do u?

 

nope completely stock.. except for stereo... sadly

 

Have you used any engine cleaner lately.........it will make your belts and pullys make a lot of noise..........

 

they said for "you" to spray it off? F*ck that, tell them to fix it if you have warranty! If they dont know what it is, tell them to find out. thats what you pay for, not for them to tell you what to do. take it back!

 

nope no engine cleaner at all. and im gunna go back tomorrow morning shortly after they open and give em a foot in the ___. i still have 8000 miles on my warrenty. im gunna farkin use it damnit hahaha
