Default Need help deciding b/t MTX or Kicker.

I am having a hard time deciding what sub set-up to go with for SQ at comp's, but when just messing around, really loud! I am an installer and have heard both, but never owned either, the one's I am deciding on are the MTX T9512-04, or the Kicker 12" L7 solo baric, 2ohm DVC. All amps are MTX. I haved talked to other USAC competitors, and they are almost divided. I kind of need a push either way. I enjoy both, but can't decide. Thanks in advance.

Kicker L7 for SQ? I think not unless you got one hell of an isnatller to build a box to suit your car. One of the last subs on my list. But to get LOUD, good for the price.

I have a 10" L7 Solobaric and I love it, just make sure you get an amp that can back it up My 10" gets 500wartts our of a Rockford 501s @ 4 Ohms not sure what you would need for a 12" but with 300 watts @ 4ohms from a 301s it was begging for more power.

It depends on you. If your the type to keep everything MTX, then go with MTX. But if you don't care about it, I would go with the Kicker!!!!! Just ordered a Kicker mono amp for the 12" L5. Can't wait for the system to be installed?

Yeah, I know! I just ordered the new L5s that are red. Not sure if my old man will come through on sending my old L5 in time to do my install in Feb 2005? I paid the same amount as the old L5, so I don't think selling the old L5 to get my money back won't be a problem? (180 bucks).
