Default Best tire for rim protection

I wanted to know what tires offer the most rim protection. I have a bad habit of grazing curbs once in a while. I've heard the Nitto 555 have a fat rim protector. Can anyone running 555's vouch for this claim? What other tires should I look at?

lol i cought myself just looking at ur post and leaving, and desiced to come back. i work at discount tire so i see alot of tires. i cant say that the nitto's have a fat lip on em but i do know that alot of good years do, specialy the f1's and some of the yokohamas. nitto neogens have none btw hope it helps good luck

i know some falken has a protection ring, but if u rim is too big, they it won't really help..

The Falken FK 452s have a nice bit of protection.

acilles has a staggerd fit it sticks out further over the rim
