Make sure you have the ignition inputs and outputs wired correctly. A lot of people make the mistake of wiring cylinder 1 to channel one, cylinder 2 to channel two, cylinder 3 to channel three, and cylinder 4 to channel four.

You need to have the ignition channels corresponding to the engine firing order. In this case of an inline four engine, it is 1-3-4-2.

So what you need to do is make sure ignition inputs and outputs are wired as follows,

channel 1 - cylinder 1
channel 2 - cylinder 3
channel 3 - cylinder 4
channel 4 - cylinder 2

Yes, the engine will still run the way you have it, but you will get a persistent error code on the e-manage unit (e-blue and e-ult). It may also lead to damage to the unit and/or coils.

Btw, the injectors channels are fine with 1 for 1, 2 for 2, 3 for 3 and 4 for 4. They do not follow the engine firing sequence like the ignition wires do.

Let us know how it goes.
