Default Help Needed! edead door => window noise

Thought I'd see if anyone knows whats going on.
I'm edeadening my doors and did driver's side today.
I did the inner layer and then put on some aluminum flashing to cover access holes and finished the outer layer.

now, when opening and closing the window, there is a weird thud sound near where the door first opens or right before it closes. Doesn't sound terrible, but its definitely NOT normal. This happens within the first inch or so from the top of the door frame. (for example, The window is rolled up. As soon as I hit the down button, it almost immediately makes this noise and then after about an inch of rolling down it goes down smoothly. When rolling it back up, its smooth until its just about to close, and again at the same spot, it makes a clunk/thud sound and closes shut. . There are no scratches or marks on my windows either.

Anyone have any idea where I might have gone wrong?
I'm going to take a closer look at the passneger side as it is not deadened yet and see how this window mechanism works but wondering if anyone else experienced this.

Thanks.

(side note) Will covering access holes have an affect on installing tint?
