Default The new K&N Intake!

http://www.car-stuff.com/carparts/sc...tfk272004.html

Im still intake shopping a year later. I have an 06 TC and want something that looks like the Injen SRI without the fender rub. I ran across this and am wondering if there is anything to it. Naturally, it looks like crap, but the power gain claim is interesting.

Anyone hear anything. Any further suggestions. Yes, I searched and could not narrow the search to useful results, so if this is a redundant post, excuse me.

That's not new, it's actually been out for a while. I still prefer the CAI from K&N, but that's just me.

it's highly overpriced for what it is. Take a look at the GFI intake that Dr Isotope pieced together. Accomplish the same thing, but save a couple hundred dollars.

It is expensive and i think they amde there sri that way to keep that charcoal filter thats in the upper portion of the box. But it does make more claimed hp then there Cai's. I would like to get the new sri they have for the 07 Tc's but the maf is diff between the years. I know you cant take a 06 intake and put it on an 07, but can you put the 07 on the 06? I know ranode makes an adapter to go 06-07 anything to go backwards?

Save your money. Do a GFI from the MAF back, get a K&N drop in, and cut open the bottom of the airbox, same thing and it sounds great. You'll still have the carb approved stamp on the airbox, and you'll save a butt load. I basically did the same thing.

Most intakes have small gains anyway, so they are all really just overpriced noise makers.
