hehe.. i kinda ghetto'd it by using paper towels (yeah.. don't do that.. i didn't have any used newspaper in the house). but it still turned out pretty decent. And all for $5 using Pactra spray window tint for RC Cars.

Tails look great but I gasped when I saw the paper towels! I hope you didn't get any overspray on that beautiful paint job. You could have taken the tails off... it's really not very difficult.

 

Looks nice! Hopefully that will hold up for a long time. I see you're in SoCal so you won't have to worry about weather conditions. You may want to consider wetsand and clear.

The Pactra stuff works really well. I used it on my tails about a year and a half ago. I did 4 coats. Haven't gotten pulled over yet. (crosses fingers)

 

Very sexy! Be sure to clay bar around the tail lights just in case. Spray paint really flies far.

 

Yup, I got some around my lights should have just taken them off it would have been much easier.
