If you're going to clear coat it make sure you use the right stuff. For Pactra tint spray I believe you want to use an enamel clear coat. I don't think it's a lacquer based paint.

Pactra window tint and Testors transparent black spray go for $3 at the hobby shops near me.

man...i can't believe you didn't spend the extra 25minutes to take the lights out. You don't worry about overspray? also if dust and dirt gets on the surface while it's wet? Do it in the garage with the door closed to control more of the dust and do it quick and get out of the garage so you minimize the fumes. Either way it came out pretty good. how many coats did you do? did u sand it afterwards or put a clear on it?

If you are going to use the Pactra Window Tint spray (RC294). The same stuff that the OP used and you want to clear coat it afterwards, use Duplicolor Acrylic Lacquer clear coat. Turns out the Pactra spray is a lacquer paint.

Me, tail light tint master? No. I have done 29 sets of tails and 2 of them were just "average", according to customers. I'm still just a tail light tint "rookie". Thanks anyways!

hmm, sadly the hobby shop I visited is out of the stuff, he said thursday he'll have more...

my friend had to get some parts for his gas powered RC car, so him and I went down there on his lunch break (he works at Toyota of Bellevue) and I bought him the parts he needed, and he's going to install my lowering springs with me :D
