Default Need help deciding on DVD solution

Ok, so I am a noob here, first post, ya ya ya.

I have searched all over this forum and I cannot find a definitive answer to a solid DVD option. I can't decide if I want to do a flip down DVD in the headliner or go for something in the headrests. All I really know at this point is that I don't like the dealer option.

I would prefer headrests just to keep that DVD player from blocking the rear mirror. Are there aftermarket headrests cheaper then the 1500 the dealer wants?

ANY help is appreciated. I know this is a noob to the max question.

Thanks.

yes... in my old car i bought headrest monitor on clearance for about $60 a piece and installed them myself, they didn't have built in dvd player on each screen.. just a/v input so i fed them signal from my in dash tv

if you want them to have built in dvd players, and the dealers should have their own in each screen, and also be able to show what the other is playing.. then that'll cost way more than $60.. just shop around first... go to local car audio shops

yeah the ones i got were closeout audiobahn headrests a couple years ago after circuit city dropped audiobahn... found them in our warehouse and got them for cheap.. they were only 5.6" but they were headrest monitors haha.. you can get a set of 7" like said above for under $200 easily... just gotta look around online or around town
