Does anyone know the true purpose of that little cubby hole under the mirror adjustment switch ?? It has a little cut out in it and if you look, you can see behind the dash. It kinda looks like something is missing.
I asked my saleman, but he is worthless. I read the whole manual, and no mention of it.
It kinda looked like it was for hanging a electric garage door opener button, instead of the sunvisor. I hung mine there and it seems to work ???

I think there is stuff behind there that they use to service??? either that or maybe something that was on the bB

Some relay/ fuse stuff behind it. I thought the top slot was a card holder. The center storage cabinet under the HVAC controls can be used to hold business cards.

yeah, i clip my garage door opener in there. the remote fits perfectly and the hole gives me enough room to slip my finger under it and then press the button. you put the tongue of the clip through the little slit in the top of the cubby hole, and then the garage door opener will hang upside down.
it's a low-tech version of the three home-link buttons, but it works and i'm happy with it!

Thanks everyone..........I use it for my garage opener too. Doesn't smash the visor and it hides it from others.
