Hey guys,

Letting all of you guys know that I am competing in the 2008 One Lap of America. The One Lap of America is a cross-country race that respects posted speed limits and all traffic laws. Competition occurs as time trials held at various race tracks across America, with all competitors being required to drive the vehicle track-to-track without any support crew or vehicle.

The main thing is that I am racing for a charity, Child's Play. On ScionNews.net and my blog you can see a suggested donation scheme for donating to this charity. I will be posting up details closer to the event on how to send in money at any time.

I will be blogging about the event and providing updates, along with pictures and videos, from the road. There are two ways that you will be able to see the updates. The first is at YourSciontC.com where Eric has been kind enough to setup a RSS feed import to the forum with commenting (so my site doesn't get overloaded with traffic), and the second is directly at my blog. Feel free to check up on my progress from the road as I compete!

Also, please feel free to stop by and say hello at any of the track locations situated across the US. The majority of locations will have no entry fee. The schedule, with my tentative arrival times (the only guaranteed times are in the morning), is as follows:
