I have a 2008 tC, unforintally it is an automatic bc i got a wicked deal on it... but im feeling the need to add some power and HP, i got some money to spend. Would turbochargeing it be a COMPLETE waste? Any ideas? Please leave them.... Thanks.[/b]

 

First .... think of better titles for your future posts. Your title has nothing about anything.

Second - go to the search button and search for automatic turbo setups ....and there are a lot of people. Turbo'ing any tC is a night and day difference.

 

Ok, my fault. Besides turbochargers, what else is a good choice?

 

supercharge it if you want to keep your warranty

 

Are they about the same price? Does it still have an impact ebven though its automatic? How abour cold air filters and such?

 

well for 07-08 it'll run you about 3k, not including install, it'll still have the same gains from what i've read the car drives like stock but faster?(it'll be slower than a s/c'd manual of course)

CAIs don't do much...its mostly for sound

 

SRI is more for sound. CAI is a 7-10 HP gain ^^^

 

you dont get that much horsepower from a cold air intake or most people (including me) would have one.

ive seen a dyno sheet with a weapon r ( i know their crap) that got 6, so i think more then 3 is possible.

im not being rude i just think its more then that.

 

the auto is not good for much boost due to its weak transmission. best bet would be sticking with the trd s/c

 

toss the transmission over to IPT or Level 10. Have them do a valve body upgrade and your all set.

 

Header back will give your more hp at different rpms .... all you guys are talking about is peak hp .... if your more hp accross 3/4 of the current band you have ... it makes the car drive differently.

 

supercharger for auto, get the 9.5 pulley, get it tuned, throw on full exhaust and you should be making good power for an auto.

 

Yea I would have about 247whp if i had the 9.5 pulley on right now - but im a manual
