Since my brother and his wife are in town from St. Louis we went out to the tulip fields and then on to Anacortes for a ferry ride to Orcas Island. It was a good time!

It was fun, the weather was decent and got some good pics.

We did end up waiting in Anacortes for the ferry for a couple of hours, but that was fine.

 

UM..........I lived here my whole life and never knew this existed.........guess I needed to stop smoking my breakfast sooner..........where is Anacortes............that is beautiful...........looked fun to go there.........

 

Nice pics Doug. Kelly and I went there yesterday and spent a couple hours..

I'll have to share mine later, but they turned out real well

Brian, that was the first time I had gone up there and I have lived a 1/2 hour away for almost a decade.

The flowers were just east of Mt. Vernon and the ferry left out of Anacortes and we went up to Orcas Island in the San Juans.



Shawn, what time were you guys up there? I wish I knew we could have had lunch.

We didn't see that place Kekai, we had lunch on Orcas island and it was good.

Tu, that is one of the little commuter ferries that goes between the islands, doesn't look too stable does it, lol.


Mike, that was my brother and that is exactly what he was doing, lol.

It is really cool, and amazing all the color combinations there are.

 

Nice Pics. When I lived in Everett a friend took me up there. I thought he was nuts when he told me we were going to look at some flowers . Once we got there I was blown away. It is well worth the trip if you've never been there.
