oh yeah! it was on the speed channel remember.

Guy has like 160 HP or something and is some kind of back yard mechanic. Right? I was in the kitchen when he was watching this so I didn't catch it all but aparently he's got one mean box.

found it, like page 5 or something.

So what do you have done so far Justin? I'm all kinds of confused

Either way WAY TO GO on getting on there man, that's pretty cool I know a bunch of people that would love to have their cars put up there. Guess it just takes the hard work and dedication and a little bit of luck.

late congrats.

Erik, agreed, I have plans for this that, and the other for my R32, but until it's bolted on sorry it doesn't count. People walk, the dyno talks.

RE The cage thread, I stopped replying because the cage is deadly. Nuff said.

the one thing that i saw, which i was warned about in an email before it was shown on air was that they may edit the letter so that it may fit the time they have on the episode. well, seems they did edit it. they took out 3 words "will have" and "potential". the original sentence said "when the project is done, this xB will have the potential to be a 220-240+hp all wheel drive monster". instead, they skipped this and made it sound like it was already done and finished
thats what he listed in his origional post, but he def didnt say he was done with it now...

That is Joel who works at Car Nutz old car. It was custom tuned because the car is an automatic. Stock the kits don't push very much power at all. In talking with people that have the Greddy/HKS kits, 130ish to the crank with bolt ons to support it. 160 might have been done, not local, honestly doubt it held up, there are lots of known flaws the the xB motor.

Yes that is the one I was talking about. Thanks for the numbers Doug, I didn't remember what Joel said it got.

Some food for thought, my xB also an auto did 78hp/79tq. After my short ram intake, 84hp, 89tq. I never dyned with an exhaust I would guess another 5ish HP because it opened it up quite a bit. So there you go, about 30hp, and as Doug said 120ish whp.
