Hows the acceleration for everyday driving for xds? Then again hows the driving experience overall?

 

It drives exactly how you would expect a DD to do so. Most of the power is mid-range and the handling is a bit floaty after 50mph without some upgrades (springs/swaybar). I personally would probably get bored of it like my 9th gen Corolla if it were Auto, but thats just me I guess Stick shift all the way! But its the best deal overall for a decent sized econo car in my books.
