Default iPod and Aux not connected to radio?

so I just got my car, and tested both the iPod connector and the Aux port, and neither is working. When I hit the iPod/aux button on the radio, it does not switch, even when either one is connected. I think they did not hook something up, anyone else ever have this problem?

Thats funny.

When you plug in your iPod, your Aux should be overridden.

I have to unplug my ipod when I play DVD's through the Aux input.

That isn't true on my premium HU. I used to have an iPod and a Sirius radio plugged in at the same time and I could listen to either one.

I have the base unit, and I can have both plugged in at the same time, no problems. I do the same as you, DVD through aux, Ipod to Ipod.
