Sound like an aftermarket switch. Activate it and see what happens. Hopefully it won't engage the optional ejector seat. Or you can trace the wires the switch is connected to.

I wonder if somebody once had a mobile video in it before and had a toggle switch for the ebrake wire so they could watch it while driving but if ever stopped they could flip it back to "legal"

on the xA, that is the button for the interior illuminations under the dash and in the cup board.

does your car have these installed already? does it alternate between the lights being on and off?

thats for the under dash LED lights

one way to find out wtf it does is just remove the console remove the shift **** and the screw in the rear cup holder and pop it off and start following the wires that its hooked up too...

You can purchase flexible LED strips from Oznium.com which work very well, or if you want to go even cheaper you can buy the cathode kit from the same place. They both look great imo.

Flip the switch at night to see if the neon turns on under the dash and under the seats. When i bought my xb it has the same switch in the same location and i flipped it and the lights turned on, you cant see them during the day. I think when you order the lights from the dealer thats where they put the switch.
