i was wondering whats the diffrence and what the advantages and differences of having a sub, on the floor, covered by plexiglass? compared to how a normal boxed sub will sound .

or if i do it like this...

also where is a good, and cheap audio shop where i can do either one of these.
thank you and sorry 4 bothering you with my stupid question

Alright, the first xB2 (Marshall's I do believe) isn't covered by plexi. It's just around the outside of the sub. The advantage is you can cover it with a carpet cover and so it will be unseen. "Stealth" if you will.
A fiberglass enclosure in the side, like depicted in the 2nd picture is also another option. To me, it's a bit cooler. But I'm a bass head and that's not enough for me...
And just an FYI, good and cheap usually don't go together. If you want to do something inexpensively, do it yourself. Fiberglass isn't that hard. Check out www.fiberglassforums.com for a lot of helpful information. I've played with fiberglass off and on since I was 15. It's really not that difficult.

lots of cheap ones. not many good ones. the good ones know they are good, and charge accordingly. check out www.diymobileaudio.com if you want ideas to do it yourself. jps
I'm sorta doing a little audio as a side gig and could set you up with some stuff. feel free to PM me any questions, and ideas you have for what you want and we can work something out. I will be doing my own build soon and posting pics along the way. I'm in the orange county area by the way
Sightwaves in Eagle Rock, CA did this for me and was very accommodating. I wanted a stealth look and still be able to use the back to carry stuff.
The borders light up white and the amp's light up blue... pretty cool at night but I dont sit back there so I dont really care.
