hey guys just got my HID's installed and got a flash here and there and i was just wondering if eye lids help at all? like does it point the lighting down at all? im just wondering until ican afford anzo's or 08's thanx guys!

 

no, unless you get the ones made to help the cutoff

 

I don't think the eyelids help...

you would have to angle the HID's down more...that will cause some loss in visibility range but u will lessen the glare...

i don't think anything can help the glare unless u get projector retrofit...or the newer tc headlights with the projectors.

 

Yes they most certainly do. I have blie bats h1d eyelids totally black no lght escapes, I have 6000k hids havent had one flash. they have a fairly clean cutoff point and its very noticable. If i pull up behind someone my light is only at its brightest up to their rear bumper. Go for it, they also look awesome

 

if you get the eyelids that seem to fit perfect with your headlight where the line meets at the top right before it gets in the way of the light it wont do anything but if u get one thats a little lower down then it will cut off a portion of your light output but then again why get HID if u wanna cut light out.

Cutoff pic, The light above the cutoff really isn't as bright as it seems, I have never been flashed by anyone!
