Default Local hot spots for food and fun in BILOXI?!

ok here's the deal. I am heading to Biloxi for Scrapin the coast 08 this year and I was looking for some nice spots to go to eat or have fun after the show. I love traveling and finding local spots to try other cultures from around the South. I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips on local spots to eat at that are different but really good. Like Memphis is known for BBQ, any places in Biloxi known for anything? I was looking at trying to find Emeril's spot but don't know exactly where it is. I will be around the Mississippi convention center and spots like Surf n Style.

So can anybody recommend souvenier shops or local restaurant?

The Ole Biloxi Schooner is pretty good if you want to try local food.

Address: 159 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS 39530-4726
Phone: (22 374-8071
Website: http://schooner.biloxi.tk/

Also,f you like to see historical sites, Beauvoir just recently reopened. It is right next to the coliseum. It was a residence of Jefferson Davis.
