Default Intake (CAI/SRI) CARB question

This can easily go in the regional section, but I decided since it's this car specific I'd ask here first.

As far as I know the only CARB legal intake is the TRD one that was specifically designed for the Scions. It has something like an extra filter or another to make it more eco friendly or something. Problem is it's ___ expensive and not nearly as effective because of it.

Now every place I ask about other intakes, Injen, Fujita, AEM, or whatever have all said their stuff if CARB pending. I was wondering if any of you guys are in the know of these kind of things and can tell me which if any is actually going to become CARB legal and when.

I was looking into more of a SRI because I just want something cheap with a good sound, and if it comes with any additional high-end HP/MPG than so be it.

Thanks
