Default How do I install B pillar appliques?

Sorry, this is probably the biggest noob question ever put on SL. But I got the darn appliques in the mail, and there was instructions. It talked about gettin prep spray, a heat gun, and all this other nonsense. Is this really necessary, lol. I thought all I would have to do is wash the area real good first, then pull the backing off of the applique and just stick it on there. My friend thought the same. Can I get away with doing it my way without worrying about it flying off going down I-95. Thanks, and once again sorry for the noobish question, instructions make things harder sometimes....

You don't need a heating gun unless you're trying to install these in the cold. All I did was let my car sit
outside then in the early afternoon I installed the appliques. Weather was about 101 degrees that day.

just clean the pillars with window cleaner or alcohol. dry them off. then spray the area with a mist of water. once the water is on put the appliques on. Once they are on the water will let u pretty much move them around. Once u have them set just leave them and let them dry. End of install. lol

any more questions?

Another trick is pledge. Wipe on, buff off. Makes them as smooth as glass.
