i have a 2008 scion tc with 11,000 miles on it and my driver side wheel bearing is going bad. The only mods i have is are S-techs and camber kit. If i bring the car to the stealership will it be covered under warranty or will they pull a fast one on me and say "Its due to the suspension upgrade". I spoke with 3 mechanics and they all said that the suspension really has nothing to do with the wheel bearing, but what do you members feel they will say. THanks Dan

yea the stock rims are still on

 

how did you diag your faulty wheel bearings? It should be covered under warrrenty. Here at Mercedes we pretty much warrenty everything. Half the time the it's the customer's fault.

 

How do you know you have a bad wheel bearing?

 

i spoke to 2 mechanics looked at it and they said thats what it is

 

,have it looked somewhere else... i have no problems with my wheel bearings and i have been lowered for around 60,000 miles (knocks on wood)

oh, and it wouldnt be covered under warenty, you suspension mods caused premature wear on your wheel bearing, and whether the techs wanna claim that or not, toyota will not pay for it.
