I am looking at the NOS Sniper Nitrous Kits and they have 2 universal ones for the 4 cyl engines.
I just don't know which one is applicable.

View Full Version : xB engine is Spread Bore or Square Bore? OakToddler 06-17-2008, 01:26 AM I am looking at the NOS Sniper Nitrous Kits and they have 2 universal ones for the 4 cyl engines. Square bore is a carburetor where all 4 barrels are of equal size, and a spread bore is a carburetor where there are two sizes of barrels; small primaries for smooth driving and fuel efficiency and larger secondaries for POWER! You would want the NOS kit listed for an EFI engine; there would normally be a single nozzle that gets plumbed into the intake track.
