I've tried to track down one of these $85 shipped intakes with no luck so far. Unless I find a place that does credit cards on-line I will need to send moneyorder. Please help me find a vendor for this intake? Thanks in advance!

Because I've read good things about these and got the go ahead from my wife to get one cause the price is right and it's a good piece. They say it's an almost exact replica of the Injen short ram. Just made of steel tube thats plated.

I may have a line on a nearly new one now. It's so frustrating trying to buy stuff like these when there isn't a direct link to who is selling them. That guy named superman selling them hasn't logged in for like 3 weeks and has none for sale on his ebay site either. It's strange to say the least.
Mr. Fang (suprman1124) sells these intakes. He takes PayPal, and is honest and his shipping is lightning quick. I have the YDR on my car; it's of great quality, it's painless to install and is identical to the Injen SRI. Save your hard-earned money on an Injen and buy the YDR!
I installed the YDR at 35,000 miles. At 70,000 miles the K & M filter was gross on one side. I replaced it instead of cleaning it, the black gunk was like mud.
The replacement was cylindrical instead of cone-shaped and touches the back of the fog light. So, I want to get another cone shaped K & M for when this one gets clogged up. What is the neck size for the YDR intake? 2 1/2 or 3 inches?

Did you keep the old one or just throw it out? I would have paid shipping for it. I don't mind cleaning them and re using. Never had a problem and they always come out looking new again.
I did toss it, the filter was like mud on one side. The other side looked O.K. I have no experience cleaning filters. Previously, I just replaces cheap filters often.
I'll ship you the one I have now when I install a cone shaped one, in perhaps 20,000 miles. I will search for a cone shaped K & M.
What size is that intake?

Not interested in the straight one but thanks anyhow. They are good for a Million miles no matter how dirty they get at any given time. The kit that is available will clean them good as new Promise. It's just a shame you tossed a perfectly good filter.

I went out and measured it with my plastic calipers and it is 2.5 inches. I was able to get it into position and measure the little bit of shoulder left showing.
I researched the part number and it looks like the smallest cone shaped/ body size (for clearance around the fog light) filter with 2 1/2 inch flange would be PL-1005
Here is a K&N link with all the different sizes availible for the cone filters.

Good luck and happy hunting.
