Default NST Shifter Bushings

I did the NST shifter busings this weekend in the xB. Was a pretty easy install really. Specially since I did not pull the intake or anything out of the engine bay. The bushings are for a tC but fit right in and work with no issues. The shifting is alot more solid and more precise. For sure a must do. Now I just need to do the short shifter and see how it goes.

Big good game tap for the NST shifter bushings. LOL

Just follow some instructions for the tC or better yet look at the ones for the TRD quickshift kit. I have both and its the best mod Ive done yet!

Thanks for the info XD40TC, where did you purchase both items? I'm seriously thinking about doing this to help improve the "mushy" feel in the shifter.

I bought the shift kit from Longo in Cali. and I bought the bushings from Doc I. I was going to get the NST ones but they were out of stock at the time. I feel like the bushings alone make the biggest difference.

Happy modding!

so do these work along with the trd short shift, or are they replacements for what already comes with the trd short shifter. NSTSBK22 is the correct part # for the xb2?
thanks

The TRD kit doesnt come with any bushings. The bushings replace the stock bushings on the cable ends. And yes they work great together.

The NSTSBK22 is the kit compatible with the xB2. These bushings replace the rubber bushings on the cables... where they attach to the transmission, in the engine bay.

Our new SSK for the tC may actually work on the xB2, but we have not had a chance to test on an xB2 just yet.

Stay tuned!!!
