i need some help...what is the best kind of suspension out there??..i want coilovers...but i want a smooth ride...id like my car to sit low to tha floor...but i dont want to be hearin and feelin every bump crack and rock i drive over...who can help me out????

Really? Mine is extremely quiet and even smooth. I expecting a kidney jarring and noisy coilover from the Basics and I got neither.

 

duh. teins have one of the highest spring rates out there for the tC.

comfort and looks H&R and HKS (from my experience) from others, B&G, Zeal (gl finding those) and Jic.

What is the ideal ride height to put the tc's at? I am planning on buying coilovers (H&R) most likely. I am interested in getting the most comfortable ride possible without sacrificing handling. What do you guys suggest?

 

According to engifineer, i think he said the best drop for handling on a tc is 1.4"
I'm like 90% on that one, hopefully he'll chime in here or you could probably shoot him a pm.

 

There is no "best drop" each and every app and or driver demands different settings, heights, responsiveness etc. So it is trial and error at most.

 

That is correct.

 

From personal experience, handling and ride comfort suffers with H&R if you go below -1.5" front/-1.25" rear. As davedavetC will tell you, they still ride nice dumped, but for me, maximum comfort and handling were best at a more conservative drop.

 

true with a moderate drop they are very comfortable and handling is amazing, but i like it low and contrary to popular believe H&R was very comfortable low, i just wanted more adjustablity so i got HKS
