So my brother in law wants to get a Prius cuz he drives A LOT and needs something more fuel efficient. He's got a 2006 Acura TSX. 23k miles.. practically brand new. He doesn't want to give it up.. so i told him.. how about i take over the payments? it's a $10 difference between my TC's payments and the TSX.

so.. how much should i ask for my tc? still debating it. you all know what it looks like.

btw, instead of taking over the payments. refinance and im sure the payments will be ALOT cheaper /month. depending on how yall are working it out.

wasnt there some sorta math behind all this..

like you take:
value of all mods together divided by 2 + KBB value of the car...

or.. sometyihng like that..

i dunno tho.. seems like a lot of wrench work went into this car.. ud be taking a pretty big hit on it..

the car is used... the parts are all used... most of them are gonna go half of what the price was worth depending on the miles... more miles, less $. however you look at it, they are used even if they were installed 1k miles ago. mods dont mean that much... part out your car, you will get more if you sell them as a whole.

with that said, i call dibs on your TWM... is it stage 1 or 2? if its stage 2 ill take it. good luck! go with TSX! that is if you can afford it. try to refinance too. it might bring the payment down.

 

TSX FTW. Only complaint about 'em is they are somewhat underpowered.... but overall a nice package.

 

You would be insane to make that trade. You have one of the cleanest tC's around... KEEP IT!
