well... i think i've decided on selling the tc. It's time to grow up a bit and drive a more responsible car. I've had my fun with the TC.. but i think i'm kinda losing the enthusiasm i once had for it. sigh.. i'm sorry to see it go.. but i think i'm going to sell it.

once he sells the car he is not responsible for whatever happens to the car yet it will hurt him to see that it wasn't taken care of.

You are upgrading to a more grown car for sure. BUT. Don't sell the car as-is. Try to put it as close to stock as possible and appeal to a broader crowd. Your car right now, NO mom or dad is buying for their kid because it's too modified and they will be concerned about safety and reliability and really IMO no tuner wants it because it's already too personalized. I would tell you that i'd like it, but if I had 18K your car wouldn't be on my list of things to buy. It's a SICK car, but I think you get what i'm saying.

Just try to de-mod it as much as you can (local swaps aftermarket for stock + cash would be key and make you more money) then sell the car as a gas sipper with fresh paint in the wantad's.

JMO.

I plan on keeping my tC and buying something more grown up in the future, the tC will be my i'm 18 again car. Only boosted enormously and putting down massive unreliable numbers. :D

Good choice on moving on to a TSX. That was my first choice too when I bought my Tc...but the payments was too high...I got the Tc instead. The TSX is just way more refined, luxurious, and packed with more features than the Tc. Plus, it's an Acura while the Tc is even lower than a Corolla.

I highly doubt anyone will pay 18K for it unless it's a Tc fanatic like most of us here. Good luck on it though. Aftermarket parts only decrease value when trading it in at a dealer.

As far as sellin' the tC, I'd hate to see it go, but you know how I feel about tCs now, the TSX has so many possibilities, and it is time to grow up. GL with the sale buddy, I'll help pass the word fsho =]
