I helped a friend buy a new Gen 2 last night. I have an '06 xB that she hates, but since everybody around here raves about it (including me of course) she acquiesed to my suggestion and tried out a new Gen 2. Well, she ended up loving it.
She went to a couple dealers on her own over the last week and we went to a third last night.
The other dealers were full sticker, but Orlando Scion actually discounts and gave her $1k off sticker immediately. They were a little low on her trade in value out of the box, but after a bit of negotiating we got another $1500 bump up. So with a little additional negotiating, she added custom steering wheel cover, under dash lights, cargo net package, rear bumper protector and darker tinted windows. The car she picked already had the music system upgrade.
All in all, a pretty sweet package and $100.00 a month less than the Honda Pilot she traded in.
She's a happy xB'er now

definitely not an xb. doesn't get good enough gas mileage to be considered the infamous "XB" :-)
