Power106 PowerHouse 08 Pics-I wanna be like Cpizio? haha
This was not a car show but a promotional event that Scion wanted to do in conjunction with Power 106.
There were 10 winners picked to display their cars but not everyone showed up.
Leaving me with a limited amount of subjects to shoot/cover. I just did my best with what I had in front of me.
This also gave me an opportunity to play around with some settings on my camera in my efforts to make my pics look like Cpizio. haha You be the judge.
Look who showed up an hour late: (yes he's still alive)
Does anyone see anything wrong when comparing the next two shots?
Other winners who showed up on time:
Scion also made arrangements for a VIP section inside the restaurant for the winners:
The upside down "V"?
After loading up on hot wings, meatballs, and about 4 large diet cokes I felt I better shoot
across the street at the Power106 pre-concert activities:
This vendor had a bad a$$ display:
Back in the Scion VIP room to clean my gear, I took this test shot of JJ's friend:
And wondered what she was looking at:
She was wondering the same thing as me. Why did they only have the top part of that door tinted? Only the restaurant knows.

This looks like wheelie boy 2008.

Did anyone else notice they had the parking lot repaved? The asphalt looks new.
The dark asphalt has a stunning contrast with the bright orange traffic cones:
If any one needs to hang banners, consider zip ties. They work great:
Trying to get shots of the Honda Center marquee, the girls got in the way:
New gogo gear must be waist chains?
Zip ties work great yes? They're still holding the banner up.

The speakers just blend in well with the new asphalt:

Man a bit late on this thread, but very cool pics Ed....it was nice to get out every once in a while.
Had to meet up with the new Scion regional manager ya know and also make sure the girls were doing there jobs..haha

Dude, I don't think anyone noticed that. We're all amazed at the defining contrast of the orange cones and the new asphalt.
