There is a screw in the wheel well holding bumper -- take it off.
Peel back the bumper(it would help if you had someone to hold it), you will see a black retainer -- tho top 10 mm holds the headlight in.
Take out all the 10mms from the headlight
Take out the bulbs

pull the bumper. Doing it the other way is just lazy. Not to mention if you dont get it just right and you scratch something. Seriously the bumper comes off very easy.
just wondering, how long did you bake for & at what temp ? Also how did you put them back together so they wont fog ? I am sure there is a thread on here somewhere but just wanted your way of how you did it.
I have wanted to do something with mine on the xA but need my car daily & am so scared of melting, fogging or it taking too long to complete.
Either way looks tight & great job

Good question about the fogging: My passenger one originally started to fog up, so the following day we rebaked it, added a little silicone, and put it back in.
Next day, it fogged up again -- so I baked it, and this time I added a bead of silicone all around the light. So far -- so good. Take a weekend and do it
For the fogging issue, if it keeps it up you can get some silica gel packets (those things that come in shoe boxes) to help absorb it. HIDplanet sells some that are bigger than normal. I put some in when I did my retrofit and haven't had moisture problems at all.
looks great, at least it's different from everybody else painting them black like soooooooo many others have. not only the xb2, bb, rsx just to name a few and some come black as standard. don't you notice so many cars now have blackout head lights. job well done matching it w/your car color. i'm holding back on doing it black coz i want to paint mine gold just been a little too lazy and waiting for a spare headlight to come in and see how should i do a HID retro before i paint it.
oh did i mention it look great and job well done
