Default fiberglass help please.

I began to bondo my box the other day, but then realized I needed a thicker coat of resin. Is it ok to resin on top of bondo? Do I need to sand all the bondo off first?

thanks in advance.

Also, If you in the Houston area with knowledge on how to finish this out p.m. me please.

first off, bondo should be used only on bare metal or it will peel, glaze on the other hand, can be used on top of the glass if it is the same kind, like polymer based for example, i can ask my dad tomorrow to find out exactly. why do you need a thicker coat of resin?

You're probably way past this now, but why not just lay another layer on the inside?

Oh yea, I prefer gel coat to Bondo - more expensive, but more reliable with a sub box...

it wouldve been better if u could get to the inside but you can resin over it however idk how strong it would be.
