Dezod 2.5" turbo exhaust + megan spipe + 2.5" highflow cat welded on midpipe

all I have to say is wwwwwwooooowwwwwwww sounds amazing!!!!! Power increase felt nice ... definitely felt noticable in the upper rpms

This weekend I'm going to install the DME header + nst underdrive pulley
I really hope the highflow cat on midpipe gets rid of any rasp from the header deleting 1st cat.

Dezod exhaust is definitely awesome!! I'm very very happy

10-1 you are gonna hate how it sounds when you put the header on with that exhaust. i loved the way my TRD exhaust sounded untill i put the header on then it was just LOUD! and had to be taken off and replaced with the stock exhaust.

your deff gonna need a resonator put into your midpipe

 

I'm guessing you had 0 cats??Or the stock 2nd cat ... I have a highflow cat welded on midpipe so will not sound the same as in your situation. I'm not sure how much better it will sound but we shall find out. Dezod resonator is probably really good matched with the highflow cat.

Will try to get soundclips soon before and after header ...

and if its raspy I will probably just add another 11" Long 2.5" highflow cat ... so this way i have 2 high flow cats + dezod resonator .... The whole system is 2.5 " from spipe back so I doubt I would even lose hp with 2.. 2.5" cats .. probably even increase due to adding a little tiny bit more backpressure. 2.38" exhaust is ideal na not 2.5"

what setup do you have agent99? that sounds good..me like...me want lol. i'm having problems with my Injen exhaust melting my RS1 lip anyways, and the only resolution anyone can give me is to get another exhaust...and i've been told the Dezod one sticks out a pretty good ways, but then people have told me its not a good exhaust to put on unless your turboed. Suggestions?

 

My setup is a 1998 honda civic!! I should be getting my 09 tc next week.

But, that doesn't mean I cant comment. Ideally, I would love to see a stock sounding exhaust system until around 4k, then I want this Dezod exhaust sound. That would be, ideal!

yepp thats exactly how it sounds .. but I think mines a little quieter due to the fact that right now I have a high flow cat welded on midpipe so I have 2 cats + resonator ... but this Saturday that will change when the DME header gets put on .. then I will have 1 high flow cat + resonator and It will sound freaking mean!!! : )

it looks like they are in a parking garage in that vid. So the exhaust is gonna sound louder for sure and a lil better sometimes.

 

Yeah pretty much. I've had my modified civic for so long that I'm actually looking forward to a stock car for a while. When that wears off, I probably wont go any further than an exhaust, intake, and short shifter.

 

I think my Injen CAI is louder than the catback exhaust right now .... Stupid 2 cats + resonator ... Cant Cant wait to install DME header this saturday .. Will definitely get louder than the intake after I remove that Primary cat.

 

Arent you worried about rasp? From what I gather, everybody here says any header = rasp.

How do you know header will kill the sound??? Has anyone on here done header + 2.5" highflow cat + dezod exhaust ?? Everyone goes header exhaust and deletes both cats with their catback.

I went the turbo exhaust bc i picked it up used + megan spipe for 350$ New for both parts = about 700$

 

oh and still waiting on that custom antifouler from ILIKEFLINT ... Will have to install the header this saturday if the antifouler comes in the next few days....

Omg and this weekend I hung out with an old friend havent seen in 2 years. She drives a bmw 335xi stick .. OMG OMG car is amazing. Inline 6 cylinder 3.0 twin turbo all wheel drive!!!!! Was so hot watching her rip through gears .. she drives better than me lol

Car is so so so fast ... Definitely thinking about the BMW 335xi as my next car in the future!!!!!
