ARUG!!!!! a striped bolt
-I am in the process of redoing my head liner and interior pillars in suede.
along the way I have run into a little problem. It appears the guy who had the box before me has tried to remove the B pillar (pillar to the right of passenger) and has striped the bolt head. This is the bolt that holds the seatbelt shoulder harness to the frame of the car.
So now I can not remover the b pillar because of this striped bolt head.
Soooo how do I remove the bolt and what do I replace it with?
By the way whoever owned the box before me left a couple of other surprises behind that I an not very happy with. Shame on you whoever you are.
Please help this is the last panel I have to cover in suede, and I cant get the head liner out as well.

Yes yes the other little surprises....Well.....
1) a live wire left under the dash. i have no idea what it was for but it was wired to the fuse pannel and never removed or caped off.
2) a flat spare tire. and i found out that the hard way.
there where others but those where the 2 that ____ed me off the most. But i geusse it could have been worse.
Any idea where to get a replacement bolt? Would a bolt and washer of the same size work or dose it need to be the exact same one?
thanks

Worst case tries:
File or grind (Dremel) opposite sides flat to get decent grip, or cross-drill the bolthead so you can stick a steel rod in it for purchase.
(Drilling straight into the head and on into the very top part of the bolt and using a bolt-extractor bit - from Sears or wherever - is another option, but a bit more expensive, even if it is more "professional.")

Aswell thanks everyone else for the quick help.
Thats whats so great about this place. Everyone is always willing to help some one else.
BTW the replacement bolt can be purchased at Toyota/Scion for $1.50.
