Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me find a cheap road bike. Let me clarify, a road bicycle. It doesn't have to be new, actually I prefer it to be used and very old. I am keeping an eye out on Craigslist, but I thought I'd go ahead and put the word out there with the hope that one of you might have an old/antiqued road bike sitting in your garage that you want to get rid of. Help a college student out! lol.

How much are you looking to spend? I have a road bike that has been collecting dust in my basement for the last 6 yrs. Its a Cannondale, bought new in 1995, triple crank, in great shape.

 

I don't want to low ball you at all, so I hope it doesn't offend you when I say 30-50 dollars. I just need one that gets me buy

 

np, thats why I asked, hate to just let it pass without saying something. I should be riding it, but, yeah, I don't, lol. I'm hoping to get a little more for it, great bike, light weight and geared for touring.

 

Oh yeah totally! I just want a ol' beater that I can use to get from class to class across campus lol. Yes I'm too lazy to walk haha.
