how many of these thread are there gonna be this month?! Jeez, the last time Todd explained...ah screw it, i don't care

 

It’s a very long story. I don't have time to get into all of the detail now, but some of the details; before I ordered this kit I ask the build time he replied and stated 4-6 weeks, at this time I was in Iraq awaiting my vacation and ordered the kit on the 4th of May. At the end of the month I ask it was getting ready to ship and I paid the final payment, he responded saying the manifold and dp would be done and if the ic pipes were done it would be ready to ship on the 6th of June. I told him that I would be home on vacation from Iraq and needed this before I got there to allow enough time to install and get tuned by the 3rd of July. I ask for an update on the 16th of June and he told me they were welding the manifold, he already stated the manifold would be complete by the 6th of June. He said after the manifold had the welds done the kit would be done. Then the kit got delayed because of the coaters a week he told me on the 22 June and he would know something that following Monday. He told me on Monday the manifold was next in line for the coaters and would be done by Friday. So he goal to ship the kit out was by that Friday. I ask him for updates that Friday and I can't remember exactly what was going on then but he did ask me if I wanted the kit there when I got home or right before. I stated right before. The whole time I was home I constantly ask for updates and more things followed. Towards the end of my trip he told me the kit was done and he would have a tracking number tomorrow night for me which was around the 16th of July. That night nothing, so I ask once again for tracking numbers and he said he wanted to check with me before he mailed the kit off about the shipping cost for overnight but yet he didn't call me that day or anything. I had to ask for the tracking number again for him to tell me this and by that time it was to late for me to get the kit before I left home so I told him to ship it standard. Then he said it would be shipped, this was Friday the 18th. Since then I keep getting I will have you a tracking number soon but nothing. I am just feed up with things he has been telling me. I called him on the 23rd and told him I want tracking numbers by Friday or a full refund. At this point I really don't care if I just get a refund. That night he gave me one tracking number and said he would have the other two tomorrow night. After waiting this long the BS needs to stop! How hard is it to ship something that was complete a week ago! Now you see a little bit where I am coming from. Not to mention I am back in Iraq and won't be able to come back to the us for a while maybe by the end of the year or begining of next year. I was suppose to be boosted and tuned off of boost now but I am not because the kit didn't make its deadline.

 

And I know he is really busy for one person that is why I ask him what the build time is, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal if he would have told me 12 weeks then, but he told 4-6 so I planned my trip home around that and the dyno.

 

damn can't diss on our troops like this. I think our dude needs an answer from Todd ASAP.

 

I also PM'd him. I tried to get ahold of him several times before this post because I really don't like doing this.

 

relax, be patient. i know its hard when you only have a small window of time. i think in the last thread todd stated that this is his second job he does at night, he has a normal day job and he tries to keep this going as well. his fabricators are from a local college so it depends on their schedule also.

just be patient as long as you can. it sux that its possible that you wont get your product when your home but todd is a good guy, dont worry he will take care of you.

just be glad that this isnt that zpi scam, then you would be really SOL like me and the other 20 guys that got took.

 

I understand all of this, that is why I ask the build time and if he would have just said 12 week. I would have been ok because I knew that up front. He told me the kit was ready to ship over a week ago seriously how long does it take to ship something and email me the tracking number. That is all I am saying. And I did get took from ZPI but only by little they owed me motor mounts!

 

man how times have changed. two years ago people never would say be patient to zpi.... but because its todd people say be patient.

I know how you feel bro, trust me I do. All i can really say is if you cant wait on it then ask for your money back. the same thoughts have been rolling in my head too but i mean what els can you do. Todd had told me the same thing 4-6 weeks and possibly longer, everyone i talked to that had delt with Todd told me most likely it would be longer than 4-6 weeks so i kinda had an idea that i was in for a long wait. So take your pick, wait longer or ask for your money back.
I do apploude you for not making this "am i being scammed by turbo toyotas" thread and being respectful , unlike others who cried like a baby.

I know and have thought several times about it, I still have nothing against Todd except he set a deadline and I actually wouldn't have cared if it took a little longer that is why I ordered it when I did to allow around 8 weeks. The fact when he told me it was ready to ship and he didn't ship it because of cost and didn't call to ask me then made me a little mad. I got over it and told him to ship it standard then over a week ago and still only one box has shipped. Just the things I have been told aggravate me. If it takes longer then be honest and tell me the truth then and only then I would have been a little frustrated but a lot more forgiving and understanding. When you tell someone something one day and something else a later date in time that contradicts the first thing, that is what is getting under my skin.

 

hey man hoepfully you get your kit soon. If you decide to stay on that path. But regardless you be safe out there and take care.
