how long does it normally take for a new exhaust system to fully break in???

like a glass pack filled system kind of deal...

 

it depends. i never really noticed after a while. it all sounds the same. mine sounds a little louder after a year or 2.

what do you have?

 

i'd say give it a month or two to settle in, sort of like springs. i think it also really depends on your driving habits. if you're easy on the gas, then it might take longer to get the full tone, but if you're more aggressive it might take less time.
