autcross != rally. look it up =)

The scion looks to possibly be a perfect fit in HSTOCK, where currently the Mini Cooper is dominating.

The scion is lighter, has more power per pound, and wider wheels than the mini. The mini has a superior rear suspension. could be interesting.

maybe I'll find out =)

just test drove one.

rear drum brakes! yuck. but probably not an issue on an autocross course. wont really ever need to slow down. brakes felt solid anyway.

car seem to have a pretty high center of gravity though, and I could really feel that rear torsion beam.

hmmm.

great car for the money tho.

mebe i will have one when they hit texas in Feb.

let's see what my little baby can do now with the low pro tires on my 16 inch wheels, but I've always wanted to try rally, just my mustang was bad handling and way too heavy, but no more! Hey I'm from Houston Jack, what part are you in? PM me.

kinda meaningless stats. tire plays such a huge role, and serious autocrossers will all be on the same tires (hoosiers).

2fix- I am around holcombe/brompton near the med center.

nothing wrong with a mustang for autocross, it is much quicker than a scion would be. But the scion should do well in its class.
