Default problem with my audo. maybe you guys can help me out

I recently installed infinity components and an alpine amp to power them. I get bass from the woofers instead of mids. i was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out, or at least point me in the right direction.

No. It's a stock head unit. I think that might be part of the problem. I tuned mine all around between 450 and 200 hertz. I still can't get any mid's. Only bass. And it sounds really distorted and really ____es me off.

i hate the f series they suck so bad. D3 is amazing, you need pac-swips for the interface. And for your infinity components did you get reference or kappa?

Hang on scion commercial is on.... *drools*

And you might get away with a 4 channel like you said to it. Check to see if the FPF (full pass filter) is on and not just the LPF (low pass filter)

infinity references. i also have the tweeters at + and -. I don't have them set up with the other option of the -3db. I was thinking about doing that though, because the my ears as well as everyone elses are a little too sensitive for the high pitch of the tweeters. By the way, I had the high pass filter on. not the low pass. i switched between the high pass and low pass and there really wasn't a difference.

i have an f90bt and its really nice now that its getting a lot more hacked on avic411.com we can skin the whole interface now you can bypass the dvd playing with a software mod and not changing wires anymore i havent tried that yet but i just read it, the potentional of the f series is growing more and more
