Is the screw that holds the dash by the spedometer (05 model) made of plastic?????????????????????????????????

I have tried to unscrew with with just about every screw driver I can find and it seems like I am tearing the screw apart and its still not turning??????

that screw is crap and does not really need to be removed to take that appart. Just yank that part off.

Well I actually though of just yanking it out...but it feels way too connected to the panel behind the dash that tells is the "message center" if you will...I don't know. Will it yank out easily if I weere to just rip it out?

Mine striped the same way.

I just gave the center piece a quick pull and it came right off.

The screw is more of a clip, so it pops off pretty easy.

I did it. a good yank.

what the hell is the point of a "clip" having a phillips head on it to think you need to unscrew it.

ahhhhh=)
