My Windshield wipers don't work after HU & Amp install
I recently had my Pioneer Head unit, amp and subs installed into my 06.5' xB. After the install, my windshield wipers didn't work.
Quickly after I realized I went back, they determined there was a "short" in the front windshield wipers, the fuse would blow every time we would try to use the front wipers. The back wipers are still perfectly fine.
What could be the cause of this? It seems like there is probably an easy solution but I want your advices first.

I had the install done at a local audio shop. I don't know to much but I did go back and they were unable to locate the problem.
What's really surprising is that the back wiper works, but when the front ones are turned on, the fuse in slot 22 (Wipers), blows.
The problem may have occurred before the install since in California the wipers are rarely used anyways...

check the fuse to start then go from there, pull the plastic shroud and check your wiper clips make sure they are secure, maybe spray with some contact spray or can of air....Then re check your wiring for Headunit etc.
maybe something is not grounded right causing a short?

It may sound stupid, but I would pull out the Headunit myself and check the wiring.
You didn't specify which headunit you're running now, but if it has a screen, there is a possibility that they accidentally connected the reverse camera wire incorrectly. This may not be the problem, but it very well could be.
Assuming the only thing touched was the headunit and battery for power, everything else should be untouched. Hope you find the problem!
